Music Teacher

The successful candidate will teach music to three primary groups:
CP – approximately 6–7 years old
CE1/CE2 – approximately 7–9 years old
CM1/CM2 – approximately 9–11 years old
The position consists of 3 teaching hours per week, with one hour of music per week for each group.
All music lessons are delivered in English.
Instrumental Practice
Practical music-making is an important part of the position.
We are particularly looking for a teacher who can introduce and progressively develop students’ skills in:
Piano, Ukulele, Violin (if possible, which would be a significant advantage).
Instrumental practice should be integrated into the wider music curriculum rather than approached solely as individual instrumental tuition. Students should progressively learn to play both individually and together, while developing coordination, listening skills, musical confidence and enjoyment of performance.
