Supplier Quality Engineer for Supplier Development

We are looking in the region Chiang Mai Thailand. This position is for an experienced SQE with good experience in Supplier Development area. The SQE has responsibility for supplier base in Asia and will support sourcing, quality performance, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of direct material supply throughout the total product lifecycle. He/She would be a part of a global SQE organization in all regions with HQ in Germany.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for strategic regional supplier sourcing (focus on mechanics)

-Implementation of global supplier quality processes and strategies in regional location (incl. support of our plants with expert knowledge on global procurement / SQ processes.

-Supports commodity and plant quality on supplier qualification.

-Representatives for strategic procurement and supplier quality process.

-Participation or own responsibility for project-related supplier APQPs.

-Implementation and performing of strategic supplier development programs.

-Carry out of supplier escalation (problem-solving) activities in support or lead roll.

-Perform regular supplier audits.

-Is the representative of the global process owner for supplier quality management.
